New year, new design !

Hello dear readers and subscribers. For my first post of 2009 I would like to take the opportunity to wish you a happy and sustainable year. This is also the occasion to introduce you to the new design of this blog.
The purpose of this redesign is to bring a more professional look to this website via the awesome Flexx Theme from the good people of iThemes. (If you are reading this from a RSS feed reader, click here to have a look at it)
Of course, this is only the beginning and many more things will be added in the very next days so stay tuned ! I hope you will enjoy this new design and look forward to reading your comments.

2009 is due to be in many countries a recession year. This makes it the perfect occasion to embrace the tenets of sustainable development and consume less energy, water and so on.
This will save you money, preserve our environment and make you live a fitter life. A bright prospect called Towards sustainability, it is the title of the series of articles I will publish in 2009.

New features : RSS of comments, Twitter and Flickr

After my last post on this blog’s design, I continued to work on improving it. This time the changes take place in the sidebar where I propose you now new cool features.
From the possibility to read the latest comments and subscribe to their RSS. I also added my Twitter and my photos on Flickr : Elrst.com turns Web 2.0.

Improved design and RSS

I was quite surprised to see my name on the list written by Alexandre Mansur of his ten best green international websites. I take the opportunity here to thank him for that.
