Europe could slash emissions by 40 percent

This is not entirely new or surprising as the UK pledged for 34 percent cuts and as Europe could go as far as 30 percent. What is surprising is the costs as they are estimated as of 2 euros per day per person.
To them, this could be done more thanks to lifestyle changes rather than investments as it doesn’t take into account nuclear, carbon capture and storage as well as carbon offsets. Read out more.
